TATTOOS & BODY PIERCING
To assure health and safety of permanent tattoo and body piercing procedures, the Hocking County Health Department issues permits and conducts inspections of tattoo and body piercing establishments according to the state regulations. Both permanent and temporary tattoo and body piercing facilities are inspected for facility approval, general safety and sanitation standards, sterilization and disinfections procedures, waste disposal and record keeping.
