ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH in HOCKING COUNTY, OHIO
The Environmental Health Division is committed to improving our communities health by minimizing environmental hazards. Sanitary principles are applied through educational outreach, consultations, inspections, sample collection, and enforcement of City, County, and State regulations.
The division is responsible for several state mandated and non-mandated programs including but not limited to plumbing, food protection, school environments, public swimming pools/spas, manufactured home parks, campgrounds, sewage, and private water systems.
