REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH RESPONSE
The Ohio Department of Health
’
s preparedness coordination for the ten (10) counties in the South Central Ohio region is comprised of two regional roles/functions: public health and hospitals.
These two coordinator functions collaborate with other partners,
such as:
- Health departments
- Hospitals
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Emergency Management Agencies (EMA)
- Law enforcement
- Etc.
Refining, augment and enhance local and regional capabilities to address and manage health consequences of bioterrorism, terrorism, unintentional, or naturally occurring events.
