Vector Control - Rodents and Insects

To prevent the spread of diseases by insects such as flies, ticks, and mosquitoes, the Hocking County Health Department provides educational materials, monitors the occurrence of West Nile Virus through dead bird surveillance, applies larvicide to control mosquito populations, and arranges tick laboratory testing and identification.
