The Ohio Department of Health’s preparedness coordination for the ten (10) counties in the South Central Ohio region is comprised of two regional roles/functions: public health and hospitals. These two coordinator functions collaborate with other partners, such as:
Health departments Hospitals Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Emergency Management Agencies (EMA) Law enforcement Etc.
...to refine, augment and enhance local and regional capabilities to address and manage health consequences of bioterrorism, terrorism, unintentional, or naturally occurring events.
