The Hocking County Health Department Environmental Division is responsible for the registration of septage haulers in accordance with the Logan-Hocking County General Health District Sanitary Regulations – Sewage Treatment System Rules – Regulation 16.

  

   

  

A septage hauler must provide the following to become registered annually;

    

  • Hocking County Health Department Septage Hauler Application

  • Septage Hauler Application Fee (including additional truck fee when applicable)

  • Truck inspection(s) scheduled with Hocking County Health Department

  • Performance Bond for $5,000.00

  • A passing sewage hauler exam score

   

Registered Septage Haulers need to provide a report of the services conducted including the date of service to the owner and the Hocking County Health Department within 30 days.
