The Ohio Department of Health’s preparedness coordination for the ten (10) counties in the South Central Ohio region is comprised of two regional roles/functions: public health and hospitals.  These two coordinator functions collaborate with other partners, such as:
  • Health departments
  • Hospitals
  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
  • Emergency Management Agencies (EMA)
  • Law enforcement
  • Etc. refine, augment and enhance local and regional capabilities to address and manage health consequences of bioterrorism, terrorism, unintentional, or naturally occurring events.
